A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
A PORTION OF STEELESTREET AND SETTING A TIME
AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City-Council of the City of Rosemead
hereby e ects.to proceed under and pursuant to the provisions
of Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, and hereby declares its intention to
order the vacation of•a portion of Steele Street within the
City of Rosemead as delineated and shown on the map and plan
on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Rosemead,
particularly described as follows:
That 400 foot portion of Steele Street lying
between Muscatel Avenue and a line parallel
to Muscatel Avenue lying 400 feet easterly
therefrom.
For further particulars as to the extent of said proposed
vacation, reference is made to the map and plan on file and
open to public inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. A public hearing will be held _on such proposed
vacation on November I.'. 1975,' -at the�hour of 8,:0,01 P.M. at the
Council.Chambers located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California, at which time and place any and 'all persons interested
in or objecting to said proposed vacation may appear and be heard.
Section 3. The City Council hereby determines that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation of
easements and rights. -of -way to construct, maintain, operate,
replace, remove, and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains
and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across said
portion of Steele Street and to construct, maintain, operate,
replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits,
cables, wires, poles, and other convenient structures, equip-
ment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, tele-
graphic and telephone lines,'.water lines, and for the trans-
portation or distribution of electric energy, water, and
incidental purposes, and hereby declares that these procedures
are taken subject to such reservations and exceptions.
Section 4. The City Clerk

circulation published and circulated in the City of Rosemead,
that said posting was completed on the 15th day ofOctober ,
19 75 and that a total number of copies by law of said
Resolution were so posted.
