A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
DETERMINING THE PER DIEM WAGE RATES FOR PUBLIC WORKS
CONTRACTS AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND FILING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The "General Wage Determination" made by the Director of
Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code Part 7, Chapter 1,
Article 2, Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1 attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by reference are determined to be the prevailing
wage rates for each craft, classification, or type of workman needed to
execute a public works contract with the City of Rosemead.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall maintain a copy of this resolution on
file at the City Hall and shall publish a .copy of this resolution in a newspaper
of general circulation which is circulated within .the City and shall cause a copy
of this resolution to be posted at each public works job site, and shall file
a certified copy of this resolution with the Director of Industrial Relations of
the State of California.

at straight time. Time and one-half the basic straight-time hourly rate is
paid for first 2 overtime hours and first 2 hours worked on Saturdays. All
other time is paid at 2x the basic straight-time hourly rate, including
remainder of Saturday, Sundays, and holidays plus employer payments shown
above. (Special variations of the workday must be by mutual consent.)

double time for Sundays and holidays. Watchmen: Time and one-half for all time
in excess of 8 hours and for the sixth consecutive day worked and holidays; double
time for seventh consecutive day worked.

weather, traffic, where another craft or crafts on the same job or project have
different starting and quitting times and such crafts have a direct effect on work
covered by this Agreement, or for other mutually satisfactory reasons. Such
deviation of starting t_i*-e shall not subject the Employer to overtime rates.
