CC - 1978-42 - Improvements of Newmarkr.'. % RESOLUTION.•NO. 78-42 -A.RESOLUTION OF,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF'ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DEDICATION ' FOR THE IMPROVEMENT. OF NEWMARK AVENUE BETWEEN SAN GABRIEL BOULEVARD AND PINE STREET, AND RESOLVING ALL MATTERS '.INCIDENT tHERETO'AS, BETWEEN THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD AND ORESTE D. AND.LENA..P. TADDEO:. THE CITY COUNCIL•OF THE CITY'OF'ROSEMEAD'DOES HEREBY RESOVE'AND'. DECLARE THAT: WHEREAS,: the City intends to'widen Newmark Avenue; and WHEREAS, 'such'widening will require the acquisition of a ten.(10.) foot strip of.property presently owned-by Oreste D. and. Lena P. Taddeo',, husband 'and wife,-.which ten-foot strip of property is,described on Attachment A to this resolution; and WHEREAS, 0reste.D. and Lena P. Taddeo have tendered a deed for the property described-on Attachment A to this reso lution; 'and. IHEREAS, the City'and the Taddeos have resolved all matters in connection with 'this transaction; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED.by the Rosemead City Council that: SECTION"1. "The,City Coiuncil'of 'the City of Rosemead hereby, accepts the.conveyance of Oreste D. and Lena P. Taddeo of the ten-foot strip described on Attachment A to this resolu- tion, and hereby declares said strip to be,a-par,t of the public right-of-way.. f or. Newmark. Avenue. SECTION 2. The City Council•of thd'City«.of koseMead- expressly,agrees to pave and stripe,,or cause to,be:paved and ' striped,. that portion.of property being conveyed.by,the,Rosemead Redevelopment Agencyto Oreste D. and Lena P. _ Taddeo,; ;which . parcel is-described on Attachment B hereto.
