CC - 1983-45 - Street Superintendents Report• • RESOLUTION NO. 83-45 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA CONFIRMING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT & ASSESSMENTS THEREIN WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Street and Highways Code, 1911 Improvement Act, Chapter 27, Section 5895 and, WHEREAS, The City Council at it's regular meeting of July 8, 1980, adopted the following policy statement for payment of assessments in annual installments, to wit; "All assessments shall be due and payable within the fiscal year in which the assessment is levied. Installment payment, not to exceed five annual installments, may be arranged for those owners of property who request installment payment of individual assessment and who demonstrate that substantial financial hardship will result from the imposition of a one-year assessment. For purposes of this policy, substan- tial economic hardship shall be defined as a material re- duction in the standard of living for the owners of the property and his family, if any." WHEREAS, the assessments are hereby confirmed for properties listed in Exhibit "A" to provide an annual installment payment plan pursuant to Council policy and the provisions of Section 5895, Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 5883 of the Streets and Highways Code, the report of the Street Superintendent with respect to the Construction of Improvements and the proposed assessments set forth therein are hereby confirmed.
