A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA CONFIRMING THE STREET
SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT & ASSESSMENTS THEREIN
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Street & Highways
Code, 19811 Improvement Act, Chapter No. 27, Section 5895 and,
WHEREAS, the City Council at it's regular meeting of July 8,
1980 adopted the following policy statement for payment of assess-
ments in annual installments, to wit:
"All assessments shall be due and payable within the
fiscal year in which the assessment is levied. Install-
ment payment, not to exceed five annual installments,
may be arranged for those owners of property who request
installment payment of individual assessment and who de-
monstrate that substantial financial hardship will result
from the imposition of a one-year assessment. For purposes
of this policy, substantial economic hardship shall be de-
fined as a material reduction in the standard of living
for the owner of the property and his family, if any."
WHEREAS, the assessments are hereby confirmed for properties
listed in Exhibit "A".
SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 5883 of the Streets
and Highways Code, the report of the Street Superintendent with
respect to the Construction of Improvements and the proposed
assessments set forth therein are hereby confirmed.
