CC - 1981-38 - Allocation of County Aid to Cities Funds• RESOLUTION NO. 81-38 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS AT VALLEY AND TEMPLE CITY BOULEVARDS WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies to the City of Rosemead as County Aid to Cities; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of $53,729.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the installa- tion of traffic signal improvements at Valley and Temple City Boulevards. WHEREAS, Valley and Temple City Boulevards are included in the City's currently approved Select System of Streets (or in the County's Master Plan of Highways), NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of Rosemead resolves that: 1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $53,729.00 of the Aid to Cities Funds apportioned to the City for the work specified above and to pay this amount to the City when claimed. 2. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for processing. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of July, 1981.
