RESOLUTION NO. 81-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 81-229
FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 9766 VALLEY BOULEVA D, IN THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD FINDS, DETERMINES,
AND RESOLVES as follows:
SLCTION 1. That an application was filed by Abraham Gordon
requesting the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption
in conjunction with an existing billiard parlor, known as the
"Karom 'N Kue", and located at:
0766 East Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California;
and that a public hearing was duly held on September 8, 1981, at
8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley
Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and that notice of the time, date,
place and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was duly given.

not exist as required by Section 9181, et. seq., of the Rosemead

materially detrimental to the public health or welfare,
or injurious to the property or improvements in such zone
or vicinity in which the property is located.

effect the comprehensive General Plan.
SECTION 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the City
Council hereby denies the conditional use permit and the appeal from
the Planning Commission decision, with respect to the property des-
cribed in Section 1.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
