A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF,
ROSEMEAD SUPPORTING THE WEST SAN GABRIEL VALLEY.
JUVENILE DIVERSION IN SEEKING FUNDING UNDER THE
COMMUNITY SERVICES ADMINISTATION FROM THE COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead is a member of the. Youth
Services/Diversion Project known as the West San Gabriel
Valley Juvenile Diversion Project; and
WHEREAS, the City, of Rosemead has invested great amount
of time, resour.ces and money in the planning; development,
implementation and operation,of the West San Gabriel.Valley.
Juvenile Diversion-Project; and
WHEREAS, the intent of the Community,.Services Admihistra-
tion Program is :within'.the"`scope of ''activities offered by the
West San Gabriel Valley.,Juvenile Diversion'Project;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rosemead sup
ports and recognizes the:West San Gabriel Valley Juvenile.--.-;.
Diversion Project as recipient of funds from the County. of Los
Angeles under the Community Services Administation to erve
residents of our community.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of August, 1980.
