CC - 07-15-97 - Adjourned Meeting. • APPROVED CITY F ROSEMEAD DATE Z 2 /1'97 BY MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL JULY 15, 1997 The adjourned regular meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Imperial at 6:10 p.m. in the Conference Room of the City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California The Pledge to the Flag was led by Mayor Pro Tem Bruesch. The Invocation was led by Mayor Imperial ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS: Present: Councilmembers Clark, Taylor, Vasquez, Mayor Pro Tem Bruesch, and Mayor Imperial Absent: None I. INTERVIEW OF CANDIDATES FOR TRAFFIC COMMISSION VACANCY This meeting was convened for the purpose of interviewing the following applicants for the vacancy on the Rosemead Traffic Commission: MITCHELL MAKI CARMINE BAFFO PAUL SHIPLEY LOUIS MUTO WING LEW DARREL KELTY JAMES WANG MEE JIN CHEN LEONG SHIRLEYSTARR DIANA HERRERA DANIEL GODOY All applicants, with the exception of James Wang and Shirley Starr, were in attendance and were interviewed by the members of the City Council. After completion of the interviews, it was the unanimous decision that Carmine Baffo be selected as Traffic Commissioner to fill the unscheduled vacancy and said appointment will terminate in October, 1998. H. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE - None III. ADJOURNMENT There being no further action to be taken at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at 8:00 p.m. Respectfully submitted: City Clerk
