SUBJECT: PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNITY SERIVCE OFFICER PROGRAM
SUMMARY
This report provides a summary of the April 2025 statistics for the Public Safety Community
Service Officer (CSO) program. CSOs worked a total of 20 shifts, providing 6-12 hours of
coverage each shift to support the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD).
• 22 LASD calls for service were dispatched
• 25 reports were taken, some reports include towing of vehicles
• 15 vehicles were recovered/stored
• 7 red tags issued (chalked vehicles for 72 hours)
• 1 assist with traffic control
• 33 parking citations issued
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Public Safety Commission receive and file this report.
