Recommendation: That the Parks Commission approves the regular meeting minutes of
June 3, 2025.
3. MATTERS FROM STAFF
A. Rose of Excellence Awards
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks and Recreation, will present two part-time employees
with the monthly Rose of Excellence Award.
CEQA: Not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
Recommendation: That the Commission receive and file the report.
B. 2025 Summer Update
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks and Recreation, will give an oral update on the 2025
Summer programs and events provided by the City of Rosemead.
CEQA: Not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.

Tom Boecking, Director of Parks and Recreation, will review a monthly report from the
Department.
