SUMMARY
Attached for your consideration is information regarding the 29th Annual California
Contract Cities Association Fall Seminar.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize any Council Member, the City
Attorney, the City Manager, or a staff designee to attend the event at City expense.
ANALYSIS
Conference sessions will include: Liability Trust Fund; Water Issues; Maintaining the
City/County Relationship; ARRA Stimulus Package; Border Patrol/Homeland Security
and an update on Sacramento Legislative Budget.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Expenses for this seminar are included in the 2009-10 Budget. .

Time: Assemble at 10:30 a.m. Shotgun at 11:30 a.m.
Entry Fee: $130.00 per player. Fee includes green fee, cart, range balls, lunch and trophies. NO
REFUNDS.
Deadline: Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline to receive all
entries is Thursday, September 17, 2009. No changes will be made after that date.
Reservations: Complete the attached and return it with the entry fee to the CCCA office. Reservations
will only be accepted when accompanied by entry fee.

When you walk the fairways at La Costa Resort and Spa in
Carlsbad, CA you are following the same paths that the
legends or the game have travelled for more than 30 years.
Our two PGA Championship I8-hole golf courses are both
beautiful and traditional in design, providing a formidable
challenge to a golfers' shotmaking ability, both off the tee,

have to tee it up and experience them firsthand. Then and

From Los Angeles: Take 1-405 South to 1-5. Continue south to
La Costa Avenue exit. Turn left (east) onto La Costa Avenue.
Drive approximately 1.5 miles to El Camino Real, and turn left
(north). The entrance to La Costa is approximately a quarter-mile
on the right-hand side.
From San Diego: Head North on 1-5 to La Costa Avenue exit.
Tom right (East) onto La Costa Avenue. Drive approximately 1.5
miles to El Camino Real, and turn left (north). The entrance to La
Costa is approximately a quarter-mile on the right-hand side.
From Palm Springs: Travel West on 1-10 to 1-15 South to
Highway 78 West (Oceanside) to 1-5 South to La Costa Avenue
exit. Drive approximately 1.5 miles to El Camino Real, and turn
left (north). The entrance to La Costa is approximately a quarter-
mile on the right-hand side.

Trophies: The Jack Parks Memorial Trophy and Awards will be presented at the Reception starting
at 6:00 p.m. at La Costa Resort.
