Brown Act:
Pursuant to provisions of the Brown Act, no action may
be taken on a matter unless it is listed on the agenda,
or unless certain emergency or special circumstances
exist. The Beautification Commission may direct staff
to investigate and/or schedule certain matters for
consideration at a future Commission meeting.

The Commission will receive public comments on

CEQA: The following items are not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
A. Discussion of Community Clean-up Event
Staff will provide details of the upcoming October 18th Community Clean-up.
B. Discussion of Planting a Rain Garden Event
As part of the City’s efforts to obtain the Clean California Community designation,
the City and Beautification Commission will be partnering with LA Conservation
Corps to organize a beautification event where residents could volunteer to help plant
a rain garden in the city. Staff will provide an overview of the Rain Garden Event.
3. MATTERS FROM COMMISSION
CEQA: The following items are not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
A. Discussion of the Annual Holiday Decoration Awards
The Beautification Commission will discuss the award categories and gift options for
the Annual Holiday Decoration Awards.

2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
