CC - Item D - Selection of Newspaper for Legal Advertising - Internal File 0160 ~
TO- HONORABLE MAYOR
AND MEMBERS
ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL
FROM: JANICE WARNER, CITY CLERK
DATE: FEBRUARY 7, 1990
RE: SELECTION OF NEWSPAPER FOR LEGAL ADVERTISING
Attached for your consideration is information from the
Rosemead/South San Gabriel Progress relating to its circulation in
the City of Rosemead.
I have contacted the San Gabriel valley Tribune and the Pasadena
Star News on numerous occasions but have not received any
information from them. The Tribune, however, did inform me by
telephone that it has 1,400 paid subscribers in Rosemead and is
published daily.
RECOMMENDATION
Should the Council wish to take action at this time, it would be
appropriate to authorize the City Clerk to utilize the Progress for
the City's legal advertising.
