JANUARY 27, 2026
The- regular meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Armenia
at '-6:06 p.m., in the Rosemead City Council Chamber, located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, California.
RESENT: Mayor Armenia, Mayor Pro Tem Low, and Council Members Clark, Dang and Ly
ABSENT None
1. CLOSED SESSION
A. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957
Title: City Manager
B. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS - Pursuant to Government Code
Section 54957.6
AGENCY DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION REPRESENTATIVES: City
Manager Kim, Assistant City Manager/Finance Director Chua, City Attorneys
Rachel Richman and Donal Le from Burke, Williams and Sorensen, LLP
EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION: Professional and Confidential Group
City Attorney Richman announced that the City Council would recess to Closed
Session to consider two items and would report any reportable actions upon return to
Open Session.
Mayor Armenia recessed the Special Meeting to Closed Session at 6:07 p.m.
The City Council reconvened in Open Session at 7:08 p.m.
City Attorney Richman reported that no reportable action was taken during Closed
Session regarding Item A — Public Employee Appointment.
Mayor Armenia then recessed the Special Meeting back to Closed Session at 10:19
p.m. to continue discussion of Item B — Conference with Labor Negotiators.
The City Council reconvened in Open Session at 10:45 p.m.
City Attorney Richman reported that no reportable action was taken during Closed
Session regarding Item B — Conference with Labor Negotiators.
