The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Armenta
at 6:01 p.m., in the Rosemead City Council Chamber, located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, California.
PRESENT: Mayor Armenta, Mayor Pro Tem Low, and Council Members Clark, Dang and Ly
1. CLOSED SESSION
A. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957
Title: City Manager
B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.9(d)(2): (1 potential case)
Mayor Armenta announced that the City Council would recess to Closed Session to
consider two items and would report any reportable actions upon return to Open
Session.
Mayor Armenta recessed the Special Meeting to Closed Session at 6:02 p.m.
The City Council reconvened in Open Session at 7:09 p.m.
City Attorney Richman reported that no reportable action was taken during Closed
Session regarding Item A — Public Employee Appointment.
Mayor Armenta then recessed the Special Meeting back to Closed Session at 8:31
p.m. to continue discussion of Item B — Conference with Legal Counsel Anticipated
Litigation.
The City Council reconvened in Open Session at 9:02 p.m.
City Attorney Richman reported that no reportable action was taken during Closed
Session regarding Item B — Conference with Legal Counsel Anticipated Litigation.
