Rosemead Beautification Commission regarding any
item on this agenda will be made available for public
inspection in the City Clerk’s Office during normal
business hours.

CEQA: The following item is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
A. Walnut Grove Avenue Resurfacing Phase 2 & Valley Boulevard Corridor’s
Median & Bike Feasibility Studies
As part of the Walnut Grove Avenue and Valley Boulevard Resurfacing projects,
technical feasibility studies were conducted to assess the integration of new raised
medians and dedicated bicycle facilities along both corridors. Staff will present a
high-level overview of both studies to the Traffic Commission and the
Beautification Commission boards for discussion.
Recommendation: That the Traffic Commission and the Beautification
Commission receive and file the Walnut Grove Avenue Resurfacing Phase 2
Project and the Valley Boulevard Corridor Median and Bike Feasibility studies
presentation and provide suggestions and comments on the options presented by
staff.
