Brown Act:
Pursuant to provisions of the Brown Act, no action may
be taken on a matter unless it is listed on the agenda,
or unless certain emergency or special circumstances
exist. The Beautification Commission may direct staff
to investigate and/or schedule certain matters for
consideration at a future Commission meeting.

The Commission will receive public comments on

CEQA: The following item is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
A.Introduction to the Rosemead Rain Garden Project & Regenerative Gardens Project
An introduction to the project and the vision behind it. Participants will explore the
site's existing conditions, learn what makes a garden truly regenerative, and discover
how rain gardens can capture and manage stormwater on-site. The commission will be
presented with a first look at the concept design for the proposed space.
Recommendation: That the Beautification Commission discuss and provide feedback.
