This report provides a summary of the May 2026 statistics for the Public Safety Community Service Officer
(CSO) Program. CSOs work a total of 27 shifts, providing 8 - 10 hours of coverage each shift to support
the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD).
• 35 LASD calls for service were dispatched, 9 reports taken
• 9 vehicles were stored, 1 vehicle was recovered
• 20 red tags issued (Chalked vehicle for 72 hours)
• 7 assists with traffic control
• 578 parking citation issued by Park Rangers and Public Safety Department
Directed patrol program by All Public Safety Team
