Recommendation: The Parks Commission approves the regular meeting minutes of June
2, 2026.
3. MATTERS FROM STAFF

A. Rose of Excellence Awards
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks and Recreation, will present two part-time employees
with the monthly Rose of Excellence Award.
Recommendation: That the Commission receive and file the report.
B. Park Amenities Discussion at Potential Civic Center
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks and Recreation, will provide an update on the Rosemead
Park Outreach.
Recommendation: That the Commission receive and file the report.
C. Monthly Parks & Recreation Department Review
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks and Recreation, will review a monthly report from the
Department.
