Wednesday  Rosemead SAO Deputies assisted with detaining local Rosemead resident suffering from mental health episode at the Rosemead Public Safety Center. Resident was previously combative with her mother at their residence prior to arriving to Public Safety Center. Resident received assistance from the LASD Mental Evaluation Team.  Rosemead SAO Deputies responded to a house fire in Rosemead. Suspect wanted in connection with assault that occurred with family member with a blunt object. • Rosemead SAO Deputies assisted with a burglary investigation that occurred July 24, 2026, for local business in Rosemead involving local transient. Ongoing issue with transient trespassing, vandalizing property and burglarizing business. During the investigation, Rosemead SAO Deputies identified the local transient, located him and placed him under arrest for violation 459 PC Burglary and 602 (M) PC Trespassing.
