Ritchie, and carried to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 1.6,-1977, with the following correction: Item 010, Roll Call Vote, should read "ABSENT: Cianciola" ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Lowrey, Cleveland, DeTora, Ritchie, Tury NOES: None - 4 ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE - On items not on the Agenda. Addressing Mr. Ross Curtis Commission: 10704 Elliot, S. El Monte Mr. Curtis owns "Shakey Jake's" Bar on Valley Blvd. He was not advised of CUP on the Bar when he purchased it. Objected to some conditions. Mr. Sullivan indicated Staff would publish for a new hearing and review the CUP - perhaps modify some conditions. Addressing Rudy Aguilar Commission: 627 N. Applicant shall demolish the present single family home and clear the lot of weeds and debris. 2. Mr. Sullivan presented the Staff Report. Chairman DeTora opened the public hearing at 8:42 p.m. Oath was administered. Proponent: Bob Classon, Applicant 805 N. Chairman DeTora closed the public hearing at 9:13 p.m. it was moved by Commissioner Lowrey, seconded by Chairman DeTora, and carried to hold the matter over to another meeting pending receipt of an Engi.neer's study on drainage of the property. AMENDMENT TO MUNICIPAL CODE - Consideration of an amendment to the Municipal Code, Article IX, Chapter 2, regarding Subdivision Regulations. Mr. Sullivan react the Memorandum. Chairman DeTora opened the public hearing at 9:34 p.m., and it closed accordingly. - It was the consensus of the Commission to hold the matter until after Item 15 on the Agenda. _ 9. PARCEL MAP 7187 - Consideration of a request to subdivide 4 lots from property located at the intersection of Jackson and Highcliff Streets. Mr. Sullivan presented the Staff Report. Mr. Dickey explained City's policy regarding dedication of private streets. Addressing Ted Chrisman, representing Applicant Commission: 860 Metro Drive, Monterey Park Discussion by Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Tury, seconded by Commissioner Ritchie, and carried to approve Parcel Map 7187 and the Negative Declaration subject to the following conditions: 1. Applicant shall, comply with all recommendations and.conditions as set: forth in the Engineer's report except for Conditions 1 ans 2 under Puilding and Safety Division and Condition 6 under Mapping. Division. 2. AMENDMENT TO MUNICIPAL CODE - Subdivision Regulations (Continued from earlier in meeting). Discussion by Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Ritchie, seconded by Commissioner Lowrey, and carried to approve the Amendment to the Municipal Code, the Negative Declaration, and to direct preparation of a Resolution. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE Addressing Mervyn Kennedy Commission: Mr. Kennedy commented that disclosure of conditions, etc. on property to prospective buyers would be a desired objective. 7.7. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS AND STAFF a. Commission and Staff were polled regarding attendance at the [-lest San Gabriel Valley Planning Congress meeting on June 9, 1977. b. Mr. Sullivan commented that the relocation at 2632 Muscatel was incomplete. Applicant had posted a cash bond which is due June 14 - may be cashed at that time and money used for demolition of the relocation. It was moved by Commissioner Tury, seconded by Commissioner Lowrey, and carried to direct Staff to notify the Applicant of intent to act on the matter, then to proceed with demolition.
