PC RESOLUTION NO. 76-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT IN CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CASE
NO. 76-3.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby
find and determine that an application was duly filed by
Mr. Larry Risdon, with respect to real property described
as:
2205 San Gabriel Boulevard, Rosemead, CA,
requesting the expansion of the supply depot for mobil
kitchen vehicles used for industrial catering.in the
C-3 Zone.
That a public hearing was duly set for June 21, 1976 at
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Rosemead City Hall,
8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California and a notice of
the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was
duly given; that a hearing duly held at the aforementioned
time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds
that facts do exist as required by Section 9180 et seq. of
the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting
of the Conditional Use Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission afurther finds:
1. Compliance with the Conditions of Approval will
insure that the project will not be detrimental
to the surrounding properties.
2. The project is desirable to the public convenience.
3. As the internal operation will not create object-
ionable noise,.or odors and conditions require
extension of a block wall between the R-2 and
C-3, the project should be compatible with
surrounding development and desirable for the
public convenience.
4. With no anticipated adverse effects on the
environment, or residents in the area at
Negative Declaration was prepared in
compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA), the guidelines for
implementation of CEQA, and Rosemead
Resolution 75-28.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the
Commissi'nhereby grants a Conditional Use Permit with
respect to the property described in Section 1 of this
Resolution subject to the following conditions:
1. Landscaping to be according to plot plan and
have permanent irrigation systems.
2. The development will be in conformance with the
plot plan as submitted.

3. Existing block wall on the west property line
will be extended south between the R-2 and
C-3 Zone.
4. The billboard at the southeast corner of the
property to be removed.
5. Security lights will be directed away from
residential area.
6. Fencing along San Gabriel Boulevard and Graves
Avenue to be approved by the Planning Director.
7. Sign affidavit of agreement agreeing to all
conditions.
8. Conditional Use Permit 76-3 is approved for
three years.
Section 5. This action shall become final and
effective ten 10 days after this decision by the Planning
Commission unless within such time a written appeal is
filed with the City Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead
City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the
adoption o the e -Resolution and shall transmit copies of the
same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
