A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
78-137.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby
find an etermine that an application was duly filed
by Wen-Yu Hsieh with respect to real property described
as:
8817 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California
requesting the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-site
consumption in conjunction with an existing liquor store,
"Doug's Liquor", at the above address.
That a Public Hearing was duly set for December 4,
1978 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Rosemead
City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California,
and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of afore-
said -hearing ~wasiduly.given;-that a hearing was duly held
at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and
determine' tfiat facts do exist as required by Section 9180
et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying
a granting of this Conditional Use Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. Compliance with the Conditions of Approval
will insure that the project will not be
detrimental to the surrounding properties.
2. The project is desirable to the public convenience.
Sect-.ion 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the
Commiss1oer_e'Fy grants a Conditional Use Permit, Case No.
78-137, subject to the following conditions:
1. Apply for City of Rosemead license and occupancy
permit.
2. Comply with the requirements of the Los Angeles
County Building/Fire Departments.
3. Supply trash containers and maintain the property
in a clean and litter-free state.
4. This Conditional Use Permit is approved for a,two-
year period, at which time it may be reviewed for
renewal by the Planning Commission without a Public
Hearing. This permit is not transferable to future
purchasers or occupants. The applicant assumes
responsibility for all conduct on the premises.
5. Within ten (10) days after approval, the applicant
shall submit a notarized affadavit of agreement to
these conditions with the Planning Director.
...Section 5. This action shall become final and effective
ten (1 days after adoption of Planning Resolution 78-30
by the Planning Commission, unless within such time a written
appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the
Rosemead City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.

Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this eso u'tion and shall transmit copies of the same to
the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
