A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT 78-131, MI JACALITO BAR.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The planning Commission does hereby find
and determine an application was duly filed by Jesus
Carrera with respect to real property described as:
9736 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California;
requesting the on-site consumption of alcoholic beverages;
and that a public hearing was duly set for August 7, 1978
at 7:30 p.m. at the Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, California and a notice of the time, date, place
and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a
hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds
and determLnes f_a_cts do exist as required by Section 9180
et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying
a granting of the Conditional Use Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is in harmony with the elements and
objectives of the City's General Plan.
2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding
properties.
3. The project is desirable for the public convenience.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the
Commission e-Ti reTy-grants a Conditional Use Permit with respect
to the property described in Section 1 of this Resolution,
subject to the following conditions:
1. Apply for a City of Rosemead Business License and
Occupancy Permit.
2. Comply with the requirements of the Building and
Fire Departments.
3. Supply trash containers and maintain the property
in a clean and litter-free state.
4. This Conditional Use Permit is approved for a two-
year period, at which time it may be reviewed for
renewal by the Planning Commission without a Public
Hearing. This permit is not transferable to future
purchasers or occupants. The applicant assumes
responsibility for all conduct on the premises.
5. Within ten (10) days after approval, the applicant
shall submit a notarized affidavit of agreement to
these conditions with the Planning Department.
Section 5. This action shall become final and
effective ten CIZTdays after this decision by the Planning
Commission unless within such time a written appeal is filed
with the City Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City
Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the
adoption o t is Resolution and shall transmit copies of the
same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
