THE PLANNING C014MISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. An application was duly filed by Western Neon Sign Company requesting a Zone Variance to permit the installation of a free standing pole sign in excess of the permitted sign area in the C-3 Zone. Section 2. A public hearing to consider said application was set and held before said Commission on June 19„'.1978 at 7:30 p.m. and notice of hearing was duly given. Section 3. Evidence both written and oral, was duly presented and considered by said Commission at said hearing. The Planning Commission now makes the following findings: 1. There are no special circumstances applicable to the property different from those of other property in the same vicinity and zone. 2. The variance will adversely affect the general plan. 3. The variance would be a grant of special privileges inconsistent with the limitations upon other properties in the same vicinity and zone. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Rosemead Planning Commission that the foregoing zone variance is hereby denied. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7 day of August 1978.
