A, RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD ADOPTION OF
A NEW NOISE ELEMENT WHICH 14EETS STATE REQUIREMENTS
FOR THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby
find an etermine that a Public:Hearing was duly
conducted on July 17, 1978 in the Council Chambers of
the Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California, and that notice of the time, date, place,
and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was given according
to law.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds;
a. The Noise Element was prepared to comply
with State mandated General Plan
requirements;
b. Adoption of the Noise Element will set
objectives to reduce noise to an
acceptable level that will not jeopardize
the health and welfare of the residents
of Rosemead.
Section 3. The Planning Commission finds that an
Environmental Impact Report was prepared in compliance
with the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA),
the Guidelines for implementation of CEQA, and Rosemead
Resolution 75-28.
Section 4. The Secretary shall certify to the
adoption of the Resolution and transmit copies thereof
to the City Clerk of the City of Rosemead.
