A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CASE NO. 79-155.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby
find and determine that an application was filed by Charles A. Hanna
for the establishment of a nursery business with respect to real property
described as:
3015 and 3021 Sullivan Avenue, Rosemead, CA;
and that a public hearing was duly set for July 2, 1979 at 7:30 p.m.
in the Council Chambers of the Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, California, and that notice of the time, date, place, and
purpose of the aforesaid hearing was duly given; and that a hearing was
duly held at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and
determines that facts do exist as required by Section 9180 et seq.
of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of
the Conditional Use Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is in harmony with the elements and objectives
of the General Plan.
2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding.
properties.
3. The project is desirable for the public convenience.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the Commission
hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit with respect to the property described
in Section 1 of this Resolution, subject to the following conditions:
1. Potting and re-potting of trees and shrubs shall be
confined to the southwesterly portion of the property.
2. This Conditional Use Permit shall continue for a
period of five (5) years from and after the date of
issuance, renewable upon application to the Planning
Commission without a public hearing.
3. Pesticides shall be stored in an enclosed building.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective
ten (10) days after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within
such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk, for consideration
by the Rosemead City Council as provided in the zoning ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of-this Resolution and shall transmit copies of the same to the
applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
