A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF'ROSEMEAD GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT IN CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CASE
79-151.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby
find and determine that an application was filed by Drug
King, Inc. for the sale of alcoholic beverages with respect
to real property described as:
8835 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead;
and that a public hearing was duly set for June 18, 1979
at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Rosemead City
Hall, 8838 Valley.Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and that
notice of the time, date, place, and purpose of the afore-
said hearing was duly given; and that a hearing was duly held
atd the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds
and determines that facts do exist as required by Section 9180
et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying
a granting of the Conditional Use Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is in harmony-with the elements and
objectives of the General Plan.
2. The project will not be detrimental to the
surrounding properties.
3. The project is desirable for the public
convenience.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings,
the Commission hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit with
respect to the property described in Section 1 of this
Resolution, subject to the following conditions:
This Conditional Use Permit is approved
for a period of f.i!ve (5) years at which
time it may be reviewed for renewal by the
Planning Commission without a public hearing.
This permit is not transferable to future
purchasers or occupants. The applicant
assumes all responsibility for conduct on
the premises.
Section 5. This action shall become final and
effective ten 10) days after this decision by the Planning
Commission unless within such time a written appeal is filed with
the City Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as
provided in the zoning ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall transmit copies of the same to the
applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
