PC - 1979-04 - Change of Zone R-2 to C-3 for property at 8001 Garvey AvenuePC RESOLUTION 79-4 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-2, MEDIUM MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, TO C-3, MEDIUM COMMERCIAL, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8001 GARVEY AVENUE, ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA. (ZONE CHANGE 78-103). THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine that a Public Hearing was duly conducted on February S, 1979 in the Council Chambers of the Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and that the notice of the time, date, place and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was given according to law. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines t at a Negative Declaration was prepared in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Guide- lines for the implementation of CEQA, and Rosemead Resolution 78-S. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds that this Zone Change is in conformance with the Land Use Element of the General Plan. Section 4. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead recommends that the City Council change the zone of that parcel described on the attached map. Section S. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of the Resolution and transmit copies thereof to the City Clerk of the City of Rosemead. i ADOPTED this day of 1979.
