PC - 1993-31 - Granting Approval of Development Agreement 93-1E PC RESOLUTION 93-31 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING APPROVAL OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT 93-1 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2417-2455 ANGELUS AVENUE, ROSEMEAD. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does hereby find and determine that an application was duly filed by The Rosemead Housing Development Corporation to approve a development plan for the Angelus Avenue Senior Center, a 50-unit low-income senior citizen housing complex located at: 2417-2455 Angelus Avenue, and that a public hearing was duly scheduled for May 17, 1993, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California; and that notice of the time, date, place, and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was duly given according to law; and that a public hearing was duly conducted at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that this request is in conformance with the Land Use Element of the General Plan, and; 1. The proposed project is consistent with the applicable General Plan of the City of Rosemead. 2. The design of the proposed project is consistent with the applicable General Plan. There is no specific plan. 3. The site is physically suitable for the type of development. 4. The site is suited for the proposed density of development. 5. The design of the project will not conflict with public easements. 6. The design of the project will have no significant adverse effects on the environment, and, therefore, a Negative Declaration was prepared and adopted in compliance with Rosemead Resolution 79-77, CEQA, and the guidelines for the implementation of CEQA. 7. Discharge of wastes from the proposed project will not result in the violation of existing requirements as prescribed by the California Regional Water Board. Section 3. Section 5. The secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and transmit copies thereof to the City Clerk of the City of Rosemead. Section 6.
