AS FOLLOWS:
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD . DENYING
MODIFICATION OF PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
(94-7) AND TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 51544
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8445-8463
MISSION DRIVE, ROSEMEAD.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLVES
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of
Rosemead does hereby find and determine that an application was duly
filed by Dolly Leong to modify a previously approved Tentative Tract
Map and Planned Development by adding two hundred (200) square feet of
floor area to the dwellings on Lots 8 & 9 for property located at:
8445-8463 Mission Drive,
and that according to law a public hearing was duly noticed and
scheduled for November 7, 1994, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
of the City of Rosemead, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California; and that notice of the time, date, place,and purpose of
the aforesaid hearings was duly given according to law; and that a
public hearing was duly conducted at the aforementioned time and
place.
Section 2. After conducting the public hearing and
consideration of the request, the Planning Commission finds and
determines that facts have not been established by the applicant to
justify the granting of the request indicated in Section 1.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. That the proposed modifications do not further the objectives
of the City's General Plan in that the size and bulk of the
modified homes will adversely affect adjoining properties as
to value or precedent, and will be detrimental to the area.
2. That the subject project is not deprived of privileges
enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and under similar
zone classifications.
3. The proposed modifications do not indicate proper
consideration for the relationship between the modifications
and the development that exists in the general neighborhood.
