RE: RESOLUTION NO. 2003-15 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD TO APPOINT SPECIFIC REPRESENTATIVES TO THE SAN
GABRIEL VALLEY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
Mayor Pro Tern Clark currently serves on the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments as the
city's Governing Board Representative. Former Councilmember Bruesch served as the city's
alternate. This resolution designates Mayor Vasquez as the Alternate Governing Board
Representative and re-designates Mayor Pro Tern Clark as the Governing Board Representative.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2003-15.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSE117EAD
TO APPOINT SPECIFIC REPRESENTATIVES TO THE
SAN GABRIEL VALLEY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
WHEREAS; the City of Rosemead has executed the San Gabriel Valley Council of
Governments Joint Powers Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead became a member of the San Gabriel Valley Council of
Governments when fifty percent plus on of the eligible member cities took action joining the
Council of Govenmrents: and
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement for the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments
requires that each member city appoint a Governing Board Representative and an Alternate
Govemin2 Board Representative to represent the City in conducting the affairs of the San Gabriel
Valley Council of Governments.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Rosemead appoints the Honorable
Margaret Clark as the Governing Board Representative to the San Gabriel
Valley Council of Governments.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Rosemead appoints the Honorable Joe.
Vasquez as the Alternate Governing Board Representative to the San
Gabriel Valley Council of Governments.
SECTION 3. That the individuals previously designated in this resolution shall serve
until replaced by resolution or until they become ineligible pursuant to the
terms of the Joint PoNvers.Agreement of the San Gabriel Vallev Council of
Governments.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
