PC RESOLUTION 80-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 80-185.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OZ ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does hereby
find and determine that an application was filed_ by Mobil Oil Corporation to
request compliance with Section 9184, et. seq., of the Rosemead Municipal Code,
standards for automobile service stations, for a service station located at:
3003 San Gabriel Boulevard, Rosemead, California;
and that a public hearing was duly set for May 5, 1980, at 7:30 p.m., in the
Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California,
and that notice of the time, place and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was duly
given, and that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that
facts do exist as required by Section 9180, et. seq., of the Ordinances of the
City of Rosemead justifying the granting of a conditional use permit.
Section-3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is in harmony with the elements and objectives of the
General Plan.
2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties.
3. The project is desirable to the public convenience.
Section 4. Based on..the aforementioned findings, the Commission hereby
grants a conditional use permit with respect to the property described in Section 1
of this Resolution, subject to the following conditions: .
1. Trash enclosure for the trash bin shall be installed.
2. All auto repair is to be conducted within the enclosed service bays.
3. No portable, A-frame signs shall be permitted for advertising or
gas-price listing.
4. Restrooms shall be provided with decorative screening, minimum of
six--feet high, with the bottom of the screen open 12 to 18 inches.
5. The site shall.be maintained in a clean and litter-free state.
6. Lined,- paved parking spaces shall be provided on the site.
7. The graffiti on the rear wall of the station shall be removed.
8. The broken pavement over the buried fuel storage tanks shall be
repaired and repaved.
9. Landscaping shall be provided as shown in the plot plan.
10. Within ten (10) days after the approval of this conditional use
permit, the applicant shall sign a notarized Affidavit of Agreement
to the above conditions and agree to implement the necessary conditions
within thirty '(30) days.
11. This conditional use permit is not transferable and is approved for
a period of three (3) years or until transfer should take place, at
which time the new owners would be required to renew this permit.
Section 5. This action will become final and effective ten (10) days
after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time, a written
appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Rosemead City Council,
as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.

Section 6. The secretary shall certify to the adoption of the
Resolution and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and the Rosemead
City Clerk.
