A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 80-187.
,THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS :FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does
hereby find and determine that an application was duly filed by L.C. Huang
and Lu Lin Hui-Mei for the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-site con-
sumption in conjunction with an.existing liquor store, known as "Mr. T's
Liquor", and located at:
8720 East Garvey Avenue, Rosemead, California;
and that a public hearing was duly set for April 21, 1980, at 7:30 p.m., in
the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall,' 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California, and that notice of the time, date, place and purpose of the
aforesaid hearing was duly given according to law; and that a public hearing
was duly conducted at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines
that facts do exist as required by Section 9180, et. seq., of the'.Oidinances
of-the City of Rosemead, justifying the granting of the Conditional Use
Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is in harmony with the elements and objectives of
the General Plan. -
2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties.
3. The project is desirable for.the public convenience.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the Commission
hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit with respect to the property described
in Section l.of this Resolution, subject to the following conditions:
1. Applicant shall apply for a.City of Rosemead Business License and
Occupancy Permit. -
2. Comply with the requirements of the Building „ Fire and Health
Departments.
3. Comply with Sections 5401-5415 which deals with the storage,
collection, accumulation and disposal of garbage, rubbish, trash,
and debris.
4. The structure shall remain free of graffiti.
5. The unpaved portion of the rear of the property shall be kept
free of-litter, overgrown weeds and debris at all times.
6. The Conditional Use Permit is approved for a period of two (2)
years, at which time it may be renewed by the Planning Commission
without a public hearing. This permit is not transferable to
future owners or occupants.
7. Within ten (10) days after approval of this conditional use permit,
the applicants shall submit a notarized Affidavit of Agreement
to the above conditions with the Planning Department.
.Section 5. This action shall become final and effective ten (10) days
after the adoption of this decision by the Planning Commission, unless within
such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the
Rosemead City Council, as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.

Section 6. The secretary shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and Rosemead
City Clerk. -
