PC - 1980-13 - Granting Conditional Use Permit 80-182PC RESOLUTION 80-13 • A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 80-182. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City.of Rosemead does hereby find and determine that an application was filed by Erving Gonzales to request the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-site consumption in con- junction with. an existing liquor store, known as "Mr. T's Liquor", and located at: 9726 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California; and that a public hearing was duly set for April 7, 1980, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California; and that notice of the time, date, place and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was given, and that a.public hearing was duly conducted at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that facts do exist as required by Section 9180, et. seq., of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead.justifying the granting of a conditional use permit. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: 1. The project is..in,harmony with the elements and.objectives of the General Plan. 2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties. 3. The project is desirable for the public convenience. Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the Commission hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit with respect to the property des- cribed in Section 1 of this Resolution, subject to the following conditions: 1. 'Applicant shall obtain a City business license and Certificate] - - of occupancy. 2. Maintain the property, parking area and sidewalks in a clean and litter-free state. 3. Provide a minimum of six (6) parking spaces, paved and stripped, and all parking spaces abutting a property line or structure shall be provided with wheele stops. - 4. This permit is granted for a period of three (3) years, at which time it-may be reveiwed.for renewal by the Planning Commission without a public hearing. This permit is not trans-... ferable to future purchasers or occupants. Section 5. This action shall become final and effective ten (10) days after the adoption of this Resolution by the Planning Commission, unless within such, time, a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Rosemead-City Council, as provided in the Zoning Ordinance. Section 6. The secretary shall-certify to the adoption of the Resolution and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk. ADOPTED this 21stday of April , 1980 G.H.
