PC RESOLUTION 81-18
FOLLOWS:
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, DENYING
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 81-215, FOR THE PLACEMENT OF A TEMPORARY TRAILER
ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9001-9005-9007-9007 VALLEY BOULEVARD, ROSEMEAD,
CALIFORNIA.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does hereby
find and determine that an application was duly filed by Union Federal Savings and
Loan.Association, to request the placement of a temporary trailer on property located
at:
9001-9005-9007-900712 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California;
and that a public hearing was duly scheduled for March 16, 1981, April 6, 1981, and
May 4, 1981 at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley
Boulevard, Rosemead, California; and that notice of the time, date, place, and purpose
of the aforesaid hearing was given according to law; and that public hearings were
duly conducted at the aforementioned place and times.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that facts
do,not exist as_.required by Section"9180, et. seq.,_of._the Ordinances of the-City of
Rosemead, justifying the granting of a conditional use permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is not in harmony with the elements and objectives of the
General Plan.
2. The project will be detrimental to the surrounding properties.
3. The project is not desirable to the public convenience.
4. On the basis of evaluation, this project has been determined to be a
Class Nine Categorical Exemption under the provisions of CEQA. A
Notice of Determination was filed with the County Clerk..
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the Commission hereby,
denies a conditional use permit with respect to the property described in Section 1
of this Resolution.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective ten (10) days
after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time a written
appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Rosemead City Council,
as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section-6. The secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and Rosemead City Clerk.
