PC - 1981-12 - Zone Change 81-122 At 3037 North Prospect AvePC RESOLUTION 81-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, A CHANGE OF ZONE, FROM P, PARKING TO R-2, LIGHT MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3037 NORTH PROSPECT AVENUE, ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, OR MORE SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT "A". (ZONE CHANGE 81-122) THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, a petition of application for a change of zone was duly submitted by the property owners, William G. Brunner, William B. Brunner, Daniel Brunner, Metha Brunner, and Violet T. Haddad; WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly set and conducted in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, on March 16, 1981 and April 6, 1981, at 7:30 p.m., and notice of the time, date, place, and purpose of the hearing was given according to law; WHEREAS, at said Public Hearing the Planning Commission determined the following findings to be in order: Section 1. The change of zone is in harmony with the elements and objectives of the General Plan. Section 2. The change of zone will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties. Section 3. The change of zone is desirable for the public convenience. Section 4. That a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance with CEQA and is in accordance with Rosemead Resolution 79-77, and the project will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does recommend to the City Council as follows: Section 1. That certain property located in the City of Rosemead and more particularly described on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference be classified as R-2, Light Multiple Residential. Section 2. That the Zoning Map of the City of Rosemead is to be amended by adding the additional zone classification described in Section 1 hereof, and said map shall have noted thereon, "Amended to R-2, on the date the Council action becomes final. Section 3. The secretary shall certify to the adoption of the Resolution and transmit copies thereof to the City Clerk of the City of Rosemead. ADOPTED this 20th day of April , 1981. 1UaM MARVIN H.
