A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 81-211, ALLOWING THE PLACEMENT
OF A TEMPORARY TRAILER ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8930 MISSION DRIVE.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does hereby
find and determine that an application was duly filed by Mr. Charles Avery DBA
Avery Datsun to request permission to place a temporary trailer,_to be used as
,additionaloffice space, in conjunction with a car dealership, known as "Avery
Datsun", and located at:
8930 Mission Drive, Rosemead, California;
and that a public hearing was duly scheduled for February 17, 1981, at 7:30 p.m.,
in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California; and that notice of the time, date, place, and purpose of the aforesaid
hearing wasCgiven according to law; and that a public hearing was duly conducted
at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that
facts do exist as required by Section 9180. et., seq., of the ordinances of the
City of Rosemead, justifying the granting of a conditional use permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The project is in harmony with the elements and objectives of the
General Plan.
2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties.
3. The project is desirable to the public convenience.
4. On the basis of evaluation, this project has been determined to be
a Class Nine Categorical Exemption under the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act. A Notice of Exemption has
..been filed with the County Clerk.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the Commission hereby
grants a conditional use permit with respect to the property described in Section 1
of this Resolution, subject to the following conditions:
1. This permit shall be granted for a period of one (1) year. Any
extension to this period must be directed to the Planning Commission,
in writing, within sixty (60) days of the expiration date.
2. The applicants shall apply for all appropriate building, electrical,
and other applicable permits relative to the installation of the
trailer, not to include any on-site plumbing facilities.
3. Applicants shall install decorative alumindm or metal skirting on
all four sides of the trailer to screen foundation blocks and pro-
vide adequate stairs and safety railings.
4. Any damage to City sidewalk, curb, or driveways due to the installation
of the trailer shall be repaired within thirty days after the instal-
lation of the trailer, and appropriate City road permits applied for.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective ten (10) days
after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time a written
appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Rosemead City Council,
as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and Rosemead City Clerk.
