A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 81-210 FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3357 SAN GABRIEL BOULEVARD,
ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead does
hereby find and determine that an application was duly filed by Rudy Angel and
Angel Ineguez requesting the sale of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with
an existing meat market, known as "Al's Quality Meats", and located at:
3357 San Gabriel Boulevard, Rosemead, California;
and that a public hearing was duly scheduled for February 17, 1981, at 7:30 p.m.,
in the Council Chambers of Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California; and that notice of the time, date, place, and purpose of the aforesaid
hearing was duly given; and that a public hearing was duly conducted at the
<aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that
facts do exist as required by Section 9180, et. seq., of the Ordinances of the
City of Rosemead, justifying the granting of a conditional use permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. The:project is in harmony with the elements and objectives of the
-General Plan.
2. The project will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties.
3. On the basis of evaluation, this project has been determined to be
a Class Nine Categorical Exemption under the provisions of CEQA.
A Notice of Exemption was filed with the County Clerk.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings, the Commission hereby
grants a-conditional-use permit with respect to-the property described in Section 1
of this Resolution, subject to the following conditions:
1. Apply for a City of Rosemead Business License and Occupancy Permit.
All conditions herein must be complied with before issuance of said
permits.
2. Comply with the requirements of the Building/Fire Departments.
3. Maintain the property in a clean and litter-free state.
4. This conditional use permit is approved for a two-year period, at
which time it may be reviewed by the Planning Commission without a
public hearing. This permit is not transferable to future owners
or occupants. The applicant assumes responsibility for all conduct
on the premises.
5. Within ten (10) days after approval, the applicant shall submit a
notarized Affidavit of Agreement with the Planning Department.
6. Slats shall be added to the chain-link storage area, outside the
main building on the southeast.-corner, to provide visual relief.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective ten (10) days
after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time, a written
appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Rosemead City Council,
as provided in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The secretary shall certify to the adontion of the Resolution
and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
