mixed-use development, and a conditional use permit to address the condominium

It should be noted that staff is currently in the process of updating the General Plan
including the Mixed-Use. Design Standards to better address mixed-use projects. The
proposed updates will be presented to the Community Development Commission for
consideration in the coming months. If approved, the entitlement process will be simplified
and staff will be able to process mixed-use development projects in a more efficient and
timely manner.
