Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2004-23 for payment of

7 2. PUBLIC HEARING - ROSEMEAD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION RESOLUTION 2004-24 PERTAINING TO THE
EXPENDITURE OF COMMISSION TAX INCREMENT REVENUES
ON THE ROSEMEAD PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER LOCATED AT
3018 N. CHARLOTTE AVENUE
California Redevelopment Law requires that the legislative body make
certain findings prior to the expenditure of redevelopment tax increment
revenues on any public facility or building. Pursuant to an earlier action
of the City Council approving the plans, construction plans are out to bid
for converting the Zapopan community building to a sub-station for the
Sheriff's Department.
Recommendation: Approve Resolution 2004-24 pertaining to the
expenditure of Commission tax increment revenues on the Rosemead
Public Safety Center located at 3018 N. Charlotte Avenue.
Ark 3. PUBLIC HEARING - RESOLUTION NO. 2004-25, A RESOLUTION
OF THE ROSEMEAD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION, CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
THE 2004-2009 IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
California law has required the preparation of Implementation Plans since
1994. These Implementation Plans must be prepared each five years and
reviewed every two and one half years. All Commission expenditures
must be in general conformance with the plans. The Implementation Plans
can also be amended, as necessary, to accommodate changing goals and
programs the Commission may consider in the future.
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2004-25, a Resolution of the
Rosemead Community Development Commission approving the
Implementation Plan for 2005-2009.
