Summit concludes
The founders of our country were thoughtful leaders who took time to consider the impact of their words and actions. Each draft of the"Declaration of
Independence and Constitution took into account the many aspects of society. They took valuable time to debate and reflect upon their decisions arid
choose how they wanted to shape the newly forming United States. - "
Consciousness of a leader impacts every decision, every conversation, every leadership moment. It requires leaders to know themselves and to be.authen-
tic, taking actions that are appropriately aligned. Getting there is not always easy. How do people create consciousness in leadership?
Successful leaders will always adapt, build upon their experience, and change their approach to leadership. Learn how your influence -grows alongside
your commitment and ability to create important relationships while adding value to the lives of those you lead and serve. Learn to build trust through per-
sonal integrity, define and articulate a compelling vision, challenge and inspire for results. "
LEADING THE CHARGE.. INTENTIONAL LEADERSHIP
Become intentional about how you develop as a leader, positively influence others and best serve. Leaders intentionally invite change; they encourage change
notes an accident, but by design. In the world of leadership practices, this is recognized as the skill set of strategy, which is not the same as strategic planning.
Rather, it is learning an applied strategy model: leaders causing measurable outcomes, through the application of sufficient assets, leveraged through target-
ed behaviors that when complete will achieve those outcomes. Using a skill set of strategy will help facilitate a leader to overcome the natural resistance to
change by marshalling assets and instituting behaviors committed to change.

A redeeming quality of our fast paced world is that, leaders are morelikely not to be defined by any one moment forever. Consequently, the leadership style
that you use today does not need to be the framework or style thatyouhave to use tomorrow. It isa leader's personal experience that shapes them as a leader,
creating 6 framework from which they can continue to develop ,F, • -
