CC - Item IV C - Salary Adjustment For Assistant City ManagerTO: HONORABLE MAYOR
AND MEMBERS
ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL
FROM: FRANK G. TRIPEPI, CITY MANAGER
DATE: APRIL 23, 2002
RE: SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
Concurrent with your consideration of an employment agreement with Bill Crowe for city manager, I
am submitting a salary adjustment for the assistant city manager. Don Wagner has capably served as
my assistant for nineteen years. I trust you will agree that he has done an admirable job and is well
deserving of an adjustment.
Therefore, I am recommending that we adjust Don's salary effective June 1, 2002. My
recommendation on the attached sheet places him in the range being paid in cities of comparable size
with comparable responsibilities.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council approve the salary adjustment for Don Wagner as outlined
on the attached schedule effective June 1, 2002.
