AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD APPROVING A
CHANGE OF ZONE FROM PO-D TO R-1 FOR
PROPERTY BOUNDED BY MARSHALL
STREET, HART AVENUE, GLENDON WAY
AND LINDA LEE STREET
(Zone Change 90-171)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The city council finds, determines and
declares:
(a) An application for a change of zone from PO-D to
R-1 was duly filed by the City of Rosemead, for property bounded
by Marshall Street, Hart Avenue, Glendon Way and Linda Lee
Street and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and
(b) A public hearing was duly held before the Planning
Commission on April 16, 1990, at which time the Commission
recommended approval of said request; and
(c) That on May 8, 1990, the City Council conducted a
duly noticed public hearing on said zone change request.
• Section 2. The City Council further finds:
(a) That the change in zone from PO-D to R-1 is
consistent with the goals, objectives and land-use designation
of the subject area as contained in the City's general plan; and
(b) That a Negative Declaration was prepared in
accordance. with State law and local regulation. The Negative
Declaration was approved by the Planning Commission.
Section 3. The City Council hereby approves Zone
Change 90-171, from PO-D to R-1 for property bounded by Marshall
Street, Hart Avenue, Glendon Way and Linda Lee Street and more
particularly described on Exhibit "A" hereto.
Section 4. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemead is
hereby amended to reflect the approved change of zone on the
• effective date of this Ordinance.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be processed
according to State law.

County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map filed in Book 75,
page 71, of Parcel Maps, in the Office of the Recorder of said County.
Together with those portions of Lots 3, and S,.Block 9, of Rosemead, in the
City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 21, Pages 114 and 115, of Maps, in the Office of the
Recorder of said County, more particularly described as follows:
The east 185.00 feet of said Lot 3.
Together with the west 187.76 of the north 260.00 feet of said Lot 5.
Also together with the west 60.00 feet of the south 290 feet of said Lot 5.
Excepting from the above-mentioned property, those portions within
dedicated street.
