Attached is the final report of project cost. The original contract amount was $345,384.00. The total amount to be paid to the contractor including quantity adjustments and the retention is $371,370.63. RECOMMENDATION 1. Accept the above referenced project. 2. Authorize the recordation of the Notice of Completion by the City Clerk. 3. ;Authorize the release of the 10 percent retention payment 35 days after the recorded date of the Notice of Completion. Segregate between additional work at contract price, agreed price and time and materials As directed by the Engineer, LA Signal, Inc. shall provide the following: 1 xtend existing one-inch conduit from existing street light footing on south side of Garvey Ave approximately 9 feet towards the back of sidewalk. The 1 inch conduit shall be extended under the newly installed 24 inch HDPE storm drain, and have a clearance of one foot. 2) Backfill excavation with 2- sac cement slurry. 3) Compact all disturbed subgrade to a 90% relative compaction. Compensation LA Signal, Inc.
