ORDINANCE 691
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be processed according to State law.
Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and declares:
(a) An application for a change of zone from R-1 to PO-D was
duly filed by Shigeru Minamizono for property located at 9215-17 Glendon Way
and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference; and
(b) A public hearing was duly held before the Planning
Commission on July 15, 1991, at which time the Commission recommended approval
of said request; and
(c) That on September 10, 1991, the City Council conducted a
duly noticed public hearing on said request.
Section 2. The City Council further finds:
(a) That the change in zone from R-1 to PO-D and General Plan
Amendment is consistent with the land use of the subject area as contained in
the City's general plan as amended; and
• (b) That a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance with
State law and local regulation. The Negative Declaration was approved by the
Planning Commission.
Section 3. The City Council hereby approves Zone Change 91-184
from R-1 to PO-D for property located at 9215-17 Glendon Way and more
particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
Section 4. The Zoning Map and General Plan of the City of
Rosemead are hereby amended to reflect the approved change of zone on the
effective date of this Ordinance.

The West 75 feet of the East 150 feet of that portion of Lot 3 in Block 9 of
Rosemead, in the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 21 Pages 114 and 115 of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot; thence North 58 30' West along
the East line of said Lot, 290 feet to the Southeast corner of land conveyed to
Charles G. Kaiser and wife by deed recorded in Book 908 Page 142, Official
Records; thence 89 10' West along the South line of land so conveyed and of the
land conveyed to Frederick S. Lathrop and wife by deed recorded in Book 284
Page 38, Official Records, 375.52 feet; thence South 58 30' East parallel with
the East line of said Lot, 290 feet to a point in the South line of said Lot;
