Ordinance No. 702 - 4124-4216 Rosemead BoulevardORDINANCE NO. 702 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM C-1 TO CBD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4124-4216 ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD (ZONE CHANGE 92-187) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and declares: (a) An application for a change of zone from C-1 to CBD was duly filed by MNG Properties for property located at 4124-4216 Rosemead Boulevard and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and (b)' A public hearing was duly held before the Planning commission on April 6, 1992, at which time the Commission recommended approval of said request; and (c) That on May 12, 1992, the City Council conducted a duly noticed public hearing on said zone change request. • Section 2. The City Council further finds: (a) That the change in zone from C-1 to CBD is consistent with the goals, objectives and land use designation of the subject area as contained in the City's general plan; and (b) That a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance with State law and local regulation. The Negative Declaration was approved by the Planning Commission. Section 3. The City Council hereby approves Zone Change 92-187 from C-1 to CBD for property located at 4124-4216 Rosemead Boulevard and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" hereto. Section 4. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemead is • hereby amended to reflect the approved change of zone on the effective date of this ordinance. Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be processed according to State law. May ATTEST: PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 26th day of 1992.
