FOLLOWS:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-2 TO
P.D. FOR PROPERTY LOCATED. AT 7629-7637 GRAVES
AVENUE, ROSEMEAD. (ZONE CHANGE 93-194)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS
Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and declares:
(a) An application for a change of zone from R-2 to P.D.
was duly filed by Rosemead Country Estates for property located at
7629-7637 Graves Avenue and more particularly described on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and
(b) A public hearing was duly held before the Planning
Commission on August 16, 1993, at which time the Commission
recommended approval of said request; and
(c) That on September 28, 1993, the City Council conducted
a duly noticed public hearing on said request.
Section 2. The City Council further finds:
(a) That the Change in zone from R-2 to P.D. is consistent
• with the land use of the subject area as contained in the City's
general plan; and
(b) That a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance
with State law and local regulation. The Negative Declaration was
approved by the Planning Commission.
Section 3. The City Council hereby approves Zone Change
93-194 from R-2 to P.D for property located at 7629-7637 Graves
Avenue and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto.
Section 4. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemead is hereby
amended to reflect the approved change of zone on the effective date
of this Ordinance.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
• this Ordinance and cause the same to be processed according to State
law.
