Ordinance No. 578 - 3032 Evelyn AvenueORDINANCE NO. 578 AS FOLLOWS: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM P-PARKING TO R-2, LIGHT MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3032 EVELYN AVENUE (ZONE CHANGE 85-136). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN Section 1. The City Council of the City of Rosemead does hereby find and determine that an application was filed by Cecilio & Corinne Rojas to charge the z3ne frc; P-Parking to R-2, light multiple residential, for property located at 3032 Evelyn Avenue or more specifically identified as follows: Northerly half of lot 18 of Tract No. 1495, as per map recorded in Book 26, pg. 51 of maps, in the office of the Los Angeles County Recorder of said County and that a public hearing was duly scheduled for April 23, 1985 at 8:00 p.m. in the Council. Chambers of the Rosemead City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California; and that notice of the time, date; place and purpose of the aforesaid hearing was duly given; and that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. WHEREAS, at said public hearing the City Council determined the following findings to be in order: 1. That the change in zone from P-Parking to R-2 is consistent with the goals, objectives and land-use designation for the subject area as contained within the General Plan. 2. That the change of zone will not be detrimental to the surrounding properties because of the existing regulations governing projects under the R-2 zoning and minimum requirements for adequate public support systems. 3. That a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act and in accordance with Rosemead Resolution 79-77, and that the project will not have a significant environmental effect. Section 3. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS: i. 1. That certain property located in the City of Rosemead and more particularly described in Section 1, be classified as R-2 Light Multiple Residential. 2. That the zoning map of the City of Rosemead is hereby amended by removing the P-Parking zone classification described in Section 1 hereof, and said map shall have noted thereon, "amended to R-2" on.the.date the Council action becomes final, amended on May. 14, 1985 3. The City Clerk is directed to enter the effective date of this Ordinance in the appropriate space of part 2 hereinabove. 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 14th day of May 1985.
